Lossiemouth avenged their recent defeat to Rothes with a win over the Speysiders at Grant Park. A first half header from Ryan FARQUHAR saw the Coasters in front at the interval, and a Shawn SCOTT strike minutes into the second half put Lossie on their way to their first home win of the season. The scoreline could have been heavier in Lossie’s favour had Ryan Green’s effort bounced off the bar in a different direction and had Scott Dunn’s goal not been disallowed for offside. The three points move Lossie above Rothes in the table and give cause for optimism ahead of this weekend’s trip to North Lodge Park to face Formartine United.
