Lossie had opened confidently however in the 7^th minute a miss hit pass by David Blackhall flew towards the centre of the park and from all of 35 yards Craig MACMILLAN volleyed it first time over the head of Craig Masterton and into the net.

MacMillan was clearly buoyed by this and had a 30 yarder which flew over the bar in the 33^rd minute then was only denied by the feet of Craig MacMillan after a neat turn and shot from 12 yards.

Disaster struck for Lossiemouth in the 44^th minute when Mark Hamilton read a knockdown well at the halfway line to get clear of his man and when the Lossie defence shuttled across a neat move saw Craig MacMillan given another glance of the goals.  Although he rattled the post with his low effort the ball bounced straight out to Andy MATHESON who rolled it into the back of the empty net.

Lossie took the centre and it was played back across to right back Darren Watson who was duly dispossessed by Tony Low.  The winger drove to the byline then cut in until he was six yards from goals.  From there he laid the ball back to the unmarked Davie MACRAE who fired in his first goal for the Jags to make the half time team all the sweeter in the away dressing room.

The second half saw both sides probe for openings but although both keepers had a handful of well made saves neither were particularly stretched.  The Coasters saw Mark Wood cut in side and shoot straight at Kevin Main from 18 yards early in the half then sub Jamie Mackay coming in from the other side and firing a low effort across goal which was touched away for a corner.

Meanwhile Buckie saw Stephen Bruce and David Macrae working into shooting positions but there was to be no addition to the scoring and it is the Jags fans who were left to lavish the praise on their table topping team at full time.
