Within a minute of the kick off Bruce Cormie headed over from a Colin Robertson corner as Huntly looked to take an early lead, however at the other end Lossie had the ball in the back of the net in eleven minutes when Kyle Stewart found the top corner but the flag was up for offside and his celebrations were cut short..

The visitors did take the lead three minutes later Neil Murray pulled for a foul 25 yards out and from the dead ball John URQUHART curled the ball past the wall into the top corner to give the Coasters a spectacular lead.

Shortly after the goal Craig Dorrat was played through on the flank and Keith Reid had a header but failed to hit the target.

Just before the half hour mark Andy Bisset headed the ball on for Robertson 25yards out and he unleashed a volley which keeper Darren McConnachie tipped it over the bar with an acrobatic save.

Four minutes before the break Dorrat headed a Robertson corner over from close range.  Despite having began to put some pressure on the visitors the half time whistle arrived with Lossie still holding the upper hand in terms of the scoreline.

Five minutes into the second half that changed. Blue Toon loanster Hamish Munro made a run into the box and was went down too easily under a soft challenge by Youngson. Skipper Michael MORRISON stepped up to the spot he shot low to the bottom left and scored

Three minutes later Colin Robertson's corner found Michael MORRISON and he took a touch before firing into the top corner to turn the game on it's head, much to the player's delight.

Huntly extended their lead in 67 minutes when a quick pass released Bisset down the left and he crossed from the byline for Bruce CORMIE to finish at close range.

Eleven minutes from time Lossie passed up a glorious chance to get back in the game. Stuart Gray spilled a Mark Wood cross but David Blackhall fired wide from a yard.

The win was wrapped up seven minutes from time Hamish Munro made a run down the wing and his cross was drilled low for Colin ROBERTSON to finish from 12 yards adding some icing to the Black and Gold's cake.
