Locos thumped Lossiemouth 8-0 at Harlaw Park to seal second spot and to
ensure that Lossiemouth will finish no better than 12th this season due
Rothes defeating Fraserburgh at Mackessack Park.
The home side were quick to open the scoring; two minutes into the game a
throughball from Ally Graham caught everyone off guard except Andy RODDIE
who found himself 1-on-1 with Stevie Dunn. Roddie then showed the
composure to put it low to Dunn's right.
Only eight minutes later, a free kick midway in Lossie's half was swung
into the box. Andy Roddie found space and showed superb control with his
chest to set up David ROSS for an easy toe poke low past Stevie
Dunn.
Locos looked to be having had a quieter spell for 20 minutes until Danny
Milne found space on the edge of the Lossiemouth box and hit a fierce shot
which cannoned of an on rushing Lossie defender but luckily for Locos it
fell to MACKAY who ran freely into the box and slotted past the
keeper.
The game seemed all but over when an Andy Roddie free kick on the left was
superbly floated in and it found Stuart MACKAY unmarked 6 yards out
as slotted it in for his second of the game.
Locos kept rubbing salt in to Lossie's wounds as a shot on the edge of the
box seemed to be going wide but Danny MILNE intervened and poked it
past the keeper from 10 yards out.
The ball seemed to be getting sucked into the net when the home side made
it 6-0 inside the first 45 minutes. An amazing through ball to the on
running Danny MILNE showed great composure as he nutmegged Stevie
Dunn from the edge of the box.

Fifteen
minutes into the second half Inverurie were scoring for fun as Scott BUCHAN
took the ball on the edge of the box and he showed great skill as he
lobbed the keeper in a superb fashion.
Locos teenage strike force teamed up to complete and eightsome reel in the
final minute when David Ross played the ball into the feet of Allen PADUA
who struck a 18 yard shot which Stevie Dunn got a hand to which slowed it
down but it trundled over the line before Lee Moir could get a despairing
foot to the ball.
