Forres Mechanics 3-2 Lossiemouth – SHFL – 22nd October 2014

Lossiemouth made the short journey to Mosset Park where they were narrowly beaten by Forres Mechanics.

The Coasters started the game with Chris Stuart in goals, deputising for the suspended Connor Hall, but the early action was at the other end of the pitch where Lossie had the ball in the net after only a minute, but Scott Miller saw his effort ruled out for offside.

Lossie had the ball in the net two minutes later and this time it counted. Willie Mathers curled in a corner and Paul SMITH saw his attempted clearance fly into the net to give Lossie the lead.

Forres levelled ten minutes before the break through Craig MCGOVERN, and the sides remained tied as they headed off at half time.

Forres powered into the lead just before the hour through Kyle SCOTT, and with five minutes left Lee FRASER made sure of the points with a third goal for the hosts.

Scott MILLER made up for his earlier disallowed effort and set up a grandstand finish when he scored straight from the restart, but Forres held on to claim their third win of the season against Lossie.
