   The annual Highland League Player of the Year Dinner turned out to be a productive evening for  www.lossiemouthfc.co.uk webmaster Kevin McKenzie, who scooped the Highland League Supporter of the Year Award.

27-May-2006 Lossiemouth FC Sportmans Dinner
  The annual Lossiemouth FC Sportmans Dinner took place this weekend in the Social Club, and was once again a roaring success. Marshalled once again by the excellent Dave Edwards, the night began with a fine meal provided by the 1629 before the guest speaker, Duncan McKenzie, entertained the crowd. Following on, comedian Peter Brown entertained the crowd before the evening closed with the auction, which raised a great deal of money for Lossie FC. 
   
12-May-2006 Supporters and Players Player of the Year
   This seasons Players of the Year awards were handed out tonight in the Social Club, with Craig Morrison scooping the Supporters Player of the Year award, and Martin McMullan taking home the Players Player of the Year gong. Well done to both.

29-Apr-2006 Inverurie Locos v Lossiemouth - Scot-Ads Highland League
  The curtain fell on another season as Lossie travelled for their final game at Harlaw Park, looking to win against Locos for the first time. Things didn't go quite to plan, and after Andy Roddie opened the scoring for the home side early on, the Lossie support spent the afternoon watching through their hands. 15-Apr-2006 Lossiemouth v Brora Rangers - Scot-Ads Highland League
   Lossiemouths final home game of the season turned out to be a successful one, with Brora Rangers eventually beaten 2-0 by goals from David Hendry and Kyle Stewart.    Lossiemouths final home match of the season against Brora Rangers will be played this Saturday. The match had originally been scheduled for October but was postponed due to Lossiemouths participation in the Qualifying Cup. For the full fixture list, click here....

The match will also provide the opportunity for Lossiemouth supporters to vote for their player of the season. Supporters will be able to vote at the turnstile on their way into the game, and exiles can cast theirs via the Lossiemouth FC Messageboard. Click here for more details....

31-Jan-2006 Fosters Highland League Cup Draw
  The draw for this seasons Fosters Highland League Cup draw was made today at Rainbow Taxis Stadium, the home of Cove Rangers. Lossiemouth were paired with Fort William, and the winner will travel to face either Forres Mechanics or Deveronvale. With the draw being made all the way to the semi-final stage, some interesting ties were thrown up, including the first round clash between Huntly and Buckie Thistle. The full draw is given below.

  It was announced today that current caretaker boss Tommy Madden will be the new Lossiemouth manager. A former player with the Grant Park side during the 90's, Tommy will be thrown in at the deep end for the two remaining fixtures of the season, with Deveronvale the visitors this weekend before a Christmas Eve trip to Fraserburgh. 23-Nov-2005 Lossiemouth announce departure of Jim Walker
  Lossiemouth FC have announced that last night the club parted company with manager Jim Walker. A statement read, 'apart from our qualification for the Scottish Cup our league results this season have been extremely disappointing', and it is thought failure to overcome Wick Academy in what was his last game may have been the final straw. Assistant manager Tommy Madden will now be in charge of the teams affairs for the near future, commencing with the home tie against Keith this Saturday.  17-Oct-2005 Tennents Scottish Cup First and Second Round Draws
  Lossiemouths Scottish Cup adventure will begin on December 10th, with a home tie against Edinburgh City or Spartans, or Berwick Rangers in the Second Round. The two non-league sides will replay their final qualifying game this coming weekend to decide who hosts Berwick in the First Round, to be played on November 19th.

15-Oct-2005 Lossiemouth v Inverurie Locos - Qualifying Cup Semi-Final
   A 94th minute penalty scored by Steven Ellis means Lossie and Inverurie will have to do it all over again next weekend for a place in the final of the Qualifying Cup.   Due to a clash with Scotlands vital World Cup qualifier against Belarus on the same day, Lossies game against Clachnacuddin on October 8th will now kick off at 12:30, in order to give fans time to return to the social club for the international straight after.

17-Sep-2005 Rothes v Lossiemouth - Qualifying Cup Second Round
  Lossie qualified for the semi-finals of the Qualifying Cup, and as a result the Tennents Scottish Cup, this weekend with a last-gasp victory over familiar opponents Rothes at Mackessack Park. 04-Sep-2005 Lossiemouth FC Golf Day
  The annual Lossie FC Golf Day took place today at Moray Golf Club on the New Course. A healthy number of entries enjoyed scorching temperatures and an excellent looking course as they competed for a number of prizes. Jimmy Shaker hit the first ball of the day, but finished in a dismal third last position. The eventual winner was Jordan Edwards, with Joyce Tulloch picking up the ladies trophy and John Evans collecting the booby prize for finishing last. Nearest the flag on the 4th hole was Jim Walker, with Jordan picking up the prize for the same on the 17th. Well done to all who entered.

   In torrential rain, Lossie faced Rothes in the opening game of their North of Scotland Cup group stage tonight. The Coasters ran out 2-1 winners over their physical visitors, who had two men dismissed during the game. Click here for the match report and photos.... 
   
29-Aug-2005 Qualifying Cup - Second Round draw
  Lossie joined holder Inverurie Locos, league leaders Forres Mechanics and six other Highland League clubs in the draw for the Second Round of the Qualifying Cup. The draw was relatively favourable to the Coasters, as they were paired with Rothes, who dumped Huntly out of the competition at Christie Park at the weekend. The tie, to be staged at Mackessack Park, will be played on Saturday, September 17th. The previously arranged game at home to Wick Academy will be played later in the season.

  Lossie made the trek north this weekend with Golspie Sutherland standing in the way of a place in the second round of the Qualifying Cup. A win today would leave the Coaters 90 minutes from Scottish Cup football. Click here for the match report and photos....

17-Aug-2005 North of Scotland Cup draw - Lossie face Rothes and Elgin
   The draw for the group stages of the North of Scotland Cup has pitched Lossie into a group containing Rothes and Elgin. The Coasters will welcome Rothes to Grant Park on Wednesday August 31st, with the game scheduled for a 20:00hrs kick off. Lossie will then make the trip to Borough Briggs to face Elgin City on Wednesday September 6th, with the semi-finals scheduled for either the 3/4/5 or 10/11/12 of October, and the final for Saturday October 29th.
   
13-Aug-2005 Lossiemouth v Fraserburgh - Scot-Ads Highland League
  Fraserburgh were the visitors to Grant Park for this weekends Scot-Ads Highland League game. The Bellslea side are notoriously mean at Grant Park, but the Coasters managed to get their first goal and point of the season. Click here for the match report and photos....

  It was announced today that Shaun Noble has decided to give up the game temporarily for family reasons, and will not be available for Lossiemouth for the immediate future. The support would like to thank him for his time at the club, and hope he soon finds the time to return to the side.

  Lossie have been drawn away to Golspie Sutherland in the first round of the Tennents Scottish Qualifying Cup. The tie will be played on Saturday the 27th of August, with the second round draw the following Monday.

20-Jun-2005 Goalkeeper Michael Rae retires
  It was announced today that goalkeeper Michael Rae has decided to hang up his gloves and retire from the game. Although only 28, the former Rangers player commented that work commitments were getting in the way of his football, and something had to give. For the full story, click here.
   
16-Jun-2005 Inverness Cup - First Round Draw
  Lossie will take part in this seasons Inverness Cup, which begins in mid-July and will form part of the clubs pre-season warm-up. The Coasters have been handed an away tie against Elgin City, to be played at Borough Briggs on Wednesday 13th of July, with a 19:30hrs kick-off. 
   
14-Jun-2005 Biscuits heads east to Buckie
  It was announced today that Shaun Scott has left Lossiemouth to join title contenders Buckie Thistle. The Jags had previously tabled a bid for the former Highland League Player of the Year soon after Jim Walker had taken the wheel at Lossie only for it to be rejected, but a second bid, combined with the players desire to leave, has been accepted. However, Biscuits will be back soon, as the clubs face each other on the opening day of the season.
   
01-Jun-2005 Fixtures for the coming season
  The fixtures for the 2005-06 Scot-Ads Highland League Season were announced last night, and Lossie have been given the arduous task of facing three of the title challengers in the first three weeks of the season. First up are Buckie Thistle, who open the season at Grant Park on Saturday, July 30th. The Coasters then travel east to Banff to face Deveronvale, before facing Fraserbugh at home.
