| 24-May-2005 | Shally signs for.............Huntly?! |
|
It
was announced this afternoon that Lossiemouths top scorer from last
season, Darren Shalliker, has left the club and signed for newly crowned
champions Huntly. The dead ball specialists’ future at the club had been
the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with a host of clubs
including Buckie Thistle, Clachnacuddin, Forres Mechanics, and Nairn
County rumoured to be interested. However, the RAF man has made a surprise
move east to Christie Park, and will be looking to help the Tigers retain
the championship this coming season. Lossiemouth now face the difficult task of replacing a 20+ goals a season striker for the start of the coming campaign, but will at least have some time to procure another partner for Shaun Scott. |
